  • The meal plan will take into consideration your goals, daily habits, taste and food preferences.

It is organised in 7 days worth of meals combinations, but it can actually be followed for a longer duration as it structured in a way that includes all food groups on a rotational bases.

This way ALL food groups and types are included in a balanced way, with indications on when to eat certain foods and their best combinations. It’s a plan based on food alternatives, so that you can swap food in a meal for what you like most, but still following the right guidelines and structure for yourself.

To summarise, it is displayed as a weekly meal plan, but can be used for as long as needed!

It is based on a food re-educational approach, which means that while you follow the actual plan, you are learning how and what to eat as well.

  • I suggest a first follow up 8 weeks after the beginning of the plan.

The first two months are the most critical independently from the approach chosen or the reason of the consultation.

It is therefore extremely important to attend the first follow up visit as here we will be able to assess the plan, re-evaluate and ultimately modify the plan if necessary.

Here I will reply to any question you might have and we will discuss the next steps/months further based on this initial outcome.

More follow up visits can be booked at this point if the patient and the nutritionist thinks it necessary.

  • The personalised food plan has a variable duration according to the needs of the individual patient. After 8 weeks the check up visit is carried out and this will be booked at the moment of the initial consultation.

Afterwards, it is not possible to predict how often it would be advisable to book the check ups: in some cases the included follow up appointment after 8 weeks is sufficient, in others, monthly check ups are necessary.

    Check ups consists of:

    • Assessment of nutritional status.

    • Anthropometric measurements (weight, height, circumferences).

    • Evaluation of progress.

The meal plan can be completely adjusted and/or updated at an extra charge.
